Gabourey Sidibe and Brandon Frankel’s twins marked a hot diggity dog milestone.
The Empire actress’ husband documented the family’s outing at Disney on Ice Presents Let’s Dance! on Dec. 20 which included a milestone moment for their 20-month-old twins Maya and Cooper.
“We got to take the twins to meet Mickey and Minnie at the vip pre-party for Disney on Ice, and their reactions did not disappoint,” Brandon wrote alongside a Dec. 21 Instagram video of his twin’s meeting with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. “I’ve been looking forward to this for a month- the way they get excited when they see their Mickey and Minnie stuffies…not realizing they’re not just toys (no screen time) is adorable.”
Maya was noticeably star struck as she walked up to Mickey and Minnie, letting out a celebratory screech while jumping up and down. As for Cooper? He had to be coached by his mom to make his way over to the duo and give them a hug. Maya gave Minnie a high five before she and her family got their group photo to commemorate the moment.

The American Horror Story actress’s husband Brandon Frankel shared a series of photos on his Instagram on Tuesday, July 22 and shared that their twins Cooper and Maya, 15 months, have already started swimming lessons.
“Throwback to the first time we ever took the Twins in the pool!” Frankel wrote next to photos of the family of four spending time together in a pool.
“They started proper swimming lessons semi recently, and it’s just so wild to see how little and squishy they were! They’re growing up so so fast- so squishy! 😭😭😭.”

Frankel and Sidibe often share photos of their family on social media. For Father’s Day this year, the dad of two shared that he was given the greatest gift – permission to share his favorite photo of his wife.
On Sunday, June 15, Sidibe’s husband shared a series of photos on Instagram of the actress, 42, and their twins Cooper and Maya just after she gave birth to them a little over a year ago. In the first photo, Sidibe looks shocked as she holds her two babies on either side of her, sitting in her hospital room.
“For Father’s Day, @gabbysidibe gifted me permission to share the funniest picture I’ve probably ever taken in my life- her super duper high on morphine being absolutely flabbergasted that she had just given birth to two whole babies!” Frankel wrote in his caption.
“Her face is absolute shock, and I love it. I know today is ‘about me’, but let’s be real…I wouldn’t be a Father without the grueling 9 months she went through, and these two absolute angels that came from it. That day my entire world changed, and I’m so grateful for it.”

In April, Frankel showed off a new tattoo on his forearm in honor of the couple’s twins Cooper and Maya. Written in blue-black ink, the simple script read his kids’ names.
In a carousel of photos, Frankel posed with the tattoo by his kids, sweetly showing off the piece of art. “Oops! I did it again. Been wanting to get the Twins’ names tattooed on me since they were born, and finally decided to make it happen,” Frankel wrote in his caption.
“They both deserved some real estate. Now I get to walk around with all three of my favorite people permanently on my body. You guys deserve this. Also included some other recents 🥰😍.”

Gabourey Sidibe’s family is soaking up quality time together this holiday season.
On Thursday, Dec. 25, the actress’ husband Brandon Frankel shared a few photos of their family of four on Instagram as they celebrated Christmas together. The foursome could be seen wearing matching pajamas, which featured patterns in blue, turquoise and yellow. Sidibe could be seen holding one of the couple’s twins, while Frankel held the other.

“Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Frankel’s [sic]! This year I got everyone matching African print family pajamas to keep the annual tradition going with a nod to @gabbysidibe , my African print Queen!” Frankel wrote in his caption.
“As she says ‘this is our Super Bowl,’ and I was probably more excited for them to wake up to all their presents than they were,” he continued. “They’re so big now, and their 2nd Christmas they have more of an idea what’s happening. These three are all the gifts I need. And don’t worry- we’re throwing in our Jewish tradition of Chinese food haha ❤️🥰.”

This past November, Sidibe shared a picture on Instagram with her twins Cooper and Maya as they visited her on the set of a new project she’s directing. In the picture, she held both of her twins while standing next to her director’s chair.
“The twins visited me on set the other day. They STILL [aren’t] allowed to watch screens tho,” she captioned her post.
In the comments, Sidibe’s husband showed some love to his wife. “Getting to watch them visit you at work and you simultaneously be a boss lady and the best mom is such an honor ❤️🥹.”
Frankel also shared pictures from their visit on set on his Instagram, expressing how proud he was of her.

Back in April, Frankel and Sidibe celebrated their twins’ first birthday. The father of two shared a heartfelt post via Instagram with several snaps of him and his little ones from their big day.
Both twins wore onesies to mark the occasion, with Cooper in a blue one with a matching bow tie and Maya in a pink unicorn design with the number written in script at the bottom.
“HAPPY HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY COOPER & MAYA!!!” the proud dad wrote in the captions. “Can’t believe a whole year of loving you has gone by. You make your Mom and me so proud every single day! You’re the most hilarious, sweet, well-behaved babies.”
“It’s been an honor to get to know you both and help you grow into the little miniature people you are- walking, talking, dancing, hugging, kissing, demanding songs, calling every animal ‘CAT!’, eating big people food- just the absolute best,” he continued. “And we can’t wait to watch you continue to learn, grow, and explore the world.
